Languorous, droll and ultimately affecting.. Although reasonably, cheesily suspenseful, the movie takes a long time to get going. Its tagline, 'There's something wrong with Esther,' turns out to be a masterpiece of understatement.. Danny Boyle has got his edge back.. Decidedly amoral..
